It appears the late 2010 and 2011 will be a very exciting period for all the Porsche fans as the manufacturer will introduce new models based on the current 911 (997) model.

So, according to our sources Porsche will reveal in late 2010 the 911 Speedster, a limited edition of just 100 units featuring a wide body kit, PDK, 19-inch wheels, 2 seats, an engine delivering 408 hp as well as several unique colors. Pricing for this 911 Speedster will be around $200,000 (MSRP). Another model will be the Carrera GTS which will be revealed in Spring 2011 and will feature a wide body kit, a 6 speed manual gearbox, center lock wheels, sport design nose, sport exhaust and the same engine found on the Speedster capable to deliver 408 hp. Pricing for the Carrera GTS will be around $103,000 for the Coupe and $112,000 for the Cabriolet. A Cayman ‘Spyder’ type car is also expected in Spring 2011 and this model will be lighter than the current version and will bring more power (330 hp). Pricing for this model will be around $65,000. Regarding the 918 Spyder, the model is not finalized for production but sources confirmed the fact that the new car will come soon and will be very quick to build. The production version will be revealed in August at Pebble Beach but only to VIP customers.
