It’s not a secret anymore that Volkswagen is working on a facelift for the Eos coupe cabriolet. What we didn’t know, is that the Eos will be replaced three years later by the Passat Cabriolet.

It appears that the German manufacturer wants to apply the same strategy as Mercedes-Benz did with the CLK, replacing it with the E-Class Cabriolet. Regarding the design of the 2011 Eos, this will receive the same retractable hardtop, the new Volkswagen family face seen on the Phaeton, Amarok and Polo, as well as a new interior.
