TechArt 2011 Porsche Cayenne Magnum

TechArt released a teaser picture of the latest Magnum based on the 2011 Porsche Cayenne, promising to show the finished product next month at the Zurich Car Show. Like the previous Magnum, it is an overdone package which many people will find quite ugly! But TechArt believes that Magnum has a very strong and confident character.

The Magnum kit consists of front apron with two large air intakes, integrated TECHART daytime running lights as well as an additional xenon double headlamp unit and air ducts, as well as TECHART Aero engine hood made of carbon fibre, side skirts and elegant trims on all four doors, three-part tail light trim with an integrated spoiler shape in combination with the roof spoiler and rear apron with integrated diffuser.

The Magnum is 92mm wider than the standard Cayenne.

For the interior TechArt provides a full leather package, entertainment system with TECHART roof mounted Entertainment Kit with an adjustable overhead monitor and a hand-made display console in leather, and TECHART 3-spokes sport steering wheels and the TECHART paddle shifters – for a unique shift feeling.

One other highlight of the Magnum package is the rims, and TechArt offers Formula and Formula II light alloy wheels, in dimensions of 20- to 23-inch respectively 22- and 23-inch, as well as Formula III forged light alloy wheels, in 21- and 22-inch, available. Besides the attractive standard colour variants, the TECHART wheels can be individualized in matched custom colours.

Currently the only performance upgrade for the Magnum is the TECHTRONIC engine management system.
