Auto Test magazine has named the Volkswagen Golf blue-e-motion it's 2011 e-car award, edging out the Audi A1 e-tron.
VW has 80 prototype Golf Blue-e-Motions testing around Berlin. Production is planned for late 2013.
The Golf blue-e-motion is an all electric motor with a lithium-ion battery.
