The second generation Golf GTD will officially debut at the Geneva MotorShow in two weeks. Like the last GTD, styling will follow the GTI minus the 'GTI' red trim. The 2.0L TDI produces 181hp and 280lb-ft of torque vs the first generation 168hp/258lb-ft. Transmission will be offered with both six-speed manual and dual clutch DSG. 0-62mph only takes 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 143mph. Expect the new GTD to go on sale in Europe this summer.
